Jaime Campbell, P-LMSW

Therapist, Community Support Worker

she/her

Jaime Campbell is a Provisionally Licensed Master Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting Deaf, disabled, neurodivergent, and mentally ill communities through peer support, advocacy, and interdisciplinary care. Her work focuses on supporting Autistic individuals, people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and those navigating serious mental illness including Bipolar Disorder and schizophrenia-spectrum experiences. Jaime believes clients deserve to be seen as whole people beyond diagnoses or symptom management and is committed to providing collaborative, strengths-based care that honors self-determination and personal growth.

Jaime is fluent in American Sign Language and English and earned her undergraduate degree in ASL Interpreting from the University of New Mexico in 2007. She is passionate about providing culturally responsive, accessible mental health care directly in ASL for Deaf and Hard of Hearing clients. Her clinical approach is grounded in Positive Psychology, ACT, narrative therapy, attachment-based work, and trauma-informed care. She has also completed advanced Autism-focused training through PESI and a year-long LEND Fellowship focused on neurodiverse populations, disability advocacy, interdisciplinary collaboration, and policy support.

Jaime’s path into social work was shaped by both professional and lived experience navigating the intersection of developmental disabilities and mental health systems. Her work is deeply informed by advocacy, curiosity, and a belief in walking alongside clients rather than trying to “fix” them within a purely medical model. She especially values supporting clients in building autonomy, meaningful relationships, and lives aligned with their own goals and identities.

Originally from Albuquerque, Jaime has spent many years working within disability and mental health communities in both New Mexico and Massachusetts. Outside of work, she enjoys crocheting, playing cello, public speaking, and exploring local restaurants around New Mexico.
